Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Paul Jeremiah, the operator of Fast Resume by Elio (“Fast Resume”), collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, verification status, user identifier, and authentication records.
  • Application content: job descriptions and URLs, resumes, experience, education, skills, contact details, answers, generated applications, edits, and selected templates.
  • Billing information: subscription status, payment provider, transaction references, customer identifiers, renewal dates, and related billing events. Fast Resume does not directly store complete payment-card details.
  • Technical and usage information: IP-derived information, device and browser data, language, timezone, pages viewed, interactions, request identifiers, logs, and security or App Check signals.
  • Communications: messages and support or deletion requests you send to us.

2. How we use information

  • Authenticate users and maintain sessions.
  • Generate, store, edit, display, and download application materials.
  • Process subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, secure the service, and troubleshoot errors.
  • Understand service usage and improve functionality and performance.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

3. AI processing

Information you submit for an application is processed using Google Gemini to interpret job requirements and candidate information and to generate application materials. Do not submit sensitive information that is not necessary for your application. Review generated output before using it.

4. Service providers

We use service providers to operate Fast Resume, including:

  • Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, hosting infrastructure, and security.
  • Google Gemini for AI-assisted processing and generation.
  • Google Analytics for website and product usage analytics.
  • Paystack and Lemon Squeezy for checkout, payments, subscriptions, and billing events.
  • Resend for transactional email and email delivery.
  • Railway for application hosting and infrastructure.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Information may be processed in countries outside Nigeria.

5. Legal grounds and disclosures

We process information as necessary to provide the service and perform our agreement with you, for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, with consent where required, and to meet legal obligations.

We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Fast Resume uses browser local storage to preserve drafts, selected templates, edited applications, and active run identifiers on your device. Firebase may use browser storage for authentication. Google Analytics uses identifiers and similar technologies to measure usage. Browser settings or privacy tools may limit these technologies, but some features may stop working correctly.

7. Retention

Temporary application-run records are generally configured to expire after 30 days. Completed job applications, account records, and subscription records may remain until you request deletion or until they are no longer needed for the service, security, billing, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Some logs, backups, and provider records may remain for a limited period after deletion.

8. Security

We use authentication, access controls, request verification, restricted database rules, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and deletion requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

To request account or data deletion, email hello@fastresume.cc from the email associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

10. Children

Fast Resume is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes and contact
